Impact of MELD Score on Outcome in Patients with Percutaneous Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation Followed by Ventricular Assist Device Implantation – Journal of Cardiac Failure

Recently, models for end-stage liver disease (MELD) score hase reported to be a prognostic factor in patients with heart failure. In this study, we aimed to elucidate the prognostic values of MELD score in patients with severe hemodynamic instability supported by percutaneousextracorporeal membrane oxygenation (p-ECMO), who underwent sequential ventricular assist device (VAD) implantation as bridge to bridge therapy.
